First Visit

Your initial well patient visit will typically consist of a comprehensive examination of your entire mouth including any appropriate x-rays. We will perform a thorough exam of your teeth, bite and existing dental restorations. The exam will also include an oral cancer screening, gum disease assessment, smile assessment, and a TMJ exam. Study models or a digital wellness scan may be taken.

After completing the exam, we will recommend only treatment that is in your best interest. Often, we will complete your cleaning at this appointment and recommend regular future cleanings and exams every 6 months. If signs of active gum disease are detected, we may recommend different initial therapy and more frequent recalls.

Are you a new patient that is in pain? We also welcome emergency visits. At the initial visit we will diagnose the source of pain or emergency and initiate treatment to provide relief.
